by asking questions of our public officials and candidates for office
… and by voting in the interest of children

by joining and contributing to organizations working for change
by working for change at the national, state, local, and neighborhood level
by sharing our knowledge
… and by spreading the word

   … so that every child begins school with a wealth of words.
